The school of music was so lucky to have been given opportunities for students to play in the "First Fridays Ignite Timaru" events held on the first Fridays of November and December 2022. The concept of having creatives come together in the Timaru CBD is such great timing given the year we have had!

TSM would like to thank Kimble Henderson for being such an amazing organiser. I'd also like to thank the sound crew for giving our students such a nice environment to play in. We really gave their team a workout! I'd also like to thank the school of music tutors and support crew who came along and helped our students to play as well as they could. I'm very pleased to see our students perform in front of an audience and look forward to seeing their development as players in the years ahead.
